To increase Facebook page followers and engage current fans, Singapore-based organic food brand Naturel launched a photo contest on Facebook. Fans were invited to upload and caption their favorite vacation photos through a custom-created app to be entered to win a S$1000 travel voucher. At the same time, taking advantage of the surge of new followers, articles on vacation destinations and travel tips were designed to populate the Facebook page throughout the duration of the contest to further establish brand language. 

 

Key Metrics:

  • Editorial content posts leading up to the contest yielded 21.75% virality.

  • Upon launching contest, the brand’s Facebook page had a massive page traffic influx of 112764 views.

  • Number of new fans increased by 12.3% in a span of six weeks.
